About Me

Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Jonah Dubé and I am a Software Engineer for a company called Monolith Productions. We specialize in the creation of video games for PC and the most recent console generation. We shipped our latest title in October of 2017 called Middle-earth: Shadow of War. At Monolith I work in many different areas of tool set including - but not limited to - the effects editor, various geometry tools in the world editor, and the facial animation pipeline.


Before working at Monolith I was a student at DigiPen Institute of Technology. Graduating in 2016 with a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation (i.e. Computer Science in Game Development) - with a minor in Math and Physics - I mainly focused on physics programming and tools development. During school I was able to explore many different types of physics simulations. From creating basic impulse/constraint physics engines for my game projects to celestial, heat and fluid simulations in other classes. My main area is tools and pipeline development, such as creating level and particle editors or build systems. It gives me a chance to work in many different avenues of game development and to continuously challenge myself with new responsibilities.
